This week again a tile efficiency question: what’s this hand’s shanten and what tile(s) make it closer to tenpai?

4 réflexions au sujet de « Problème mahjong #56 »

  1. The hand is 1-shanten and I think the following tiles make it tenpai

    1-pin: p123 p44 p789 b56 www; waiting for b47
    2-pin: p234 p24 p789 b55 www; waiting for p3
    3-pin: p234 p34 P789 b55 www; waiting for p24
    4-pin: p23 p444 p789 b55 www; waiting for p14
    5-pin: p234 p45 p789 b55 www; waiting for p36
    6-pin: p234 p46 p789 b55 www; waiting for p5
    4-bam: p23 p44 p789 b456 www; waiting for p14
    5-bam: p23 p44 p789 b555 www; waiting for p14
    7-bam: p23 p44 p789 b567 www; waiting for p14

    • Upon drawing the 5s, I’d recommend discarding the 4p instead of the 6s: the wait would be 467s, for a total of 11 tiles, instead of 14p, for a total of 6 tiles.
      (s = bamboos)
